Cost: $25 per person, $40 per couple prepaid or $30 per person, $50 per couple at the door.
Please note that payments made at the door are cash only. You can make payment on paypal through The Woman’s Club of Bala Cynwyd. Please RSVP by or before 10/12. … Details: In addition to the per person cost, tickets will be available for purchase at the event to guess the value of the appraisal items. Each ticket will be $5 or you can purchase 5 tickets for $15. Members of the Club will enjoy 1 free ticket to guess the value of an item. The funds brought in from this event will go towards the Woman’s Club which is a non-profit. Please support this historical venue in our local community! You can also become a member of the Club at the event so you can be a part of our other events during the year.
Join Timothy Zeigler and the specialists of Kamelot Auctions (http://www.kamelotauctions.com/about.php) for a talk on “Auctions 101.” They will have various types of items displayed. Guests will enjoy cocktails and light bites while they view the items and guess their value to see how it compares to the value provided by Kamelot’s specialists. They will discuss the items and provide a value toward the end of the event and we will announce those closest to Kamelot’s valuation. The person closet to the value of EACH item will win a prize! Prizes include wine, a gift basket, an American express gift card and other surprises! Please note this is not an event where guests will bring their own items from home to have appraised but after this lesson we hope to have an event for that purpose in Spring 2014.
