The Merion Concert Band presents its 35th Anniversary Concert on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 PM at Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr. Featured band member and euphonium soloist Jan-Willem Jochems will dazzle the audience with Harlequin by Philip Sparke. The program opens with the Academic Festival

Overture by Johannes Brahms followed by Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Moussorgsky. Copeland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Grainger’s Irish Tune from County Derry and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture round out this packed and exciting performance. Special activities are planned, including a reception following the concert, to help celebrate this milestone.
