Parents seek AED machines for LM Township rec fields – ARDMORE>>Residents for and against the proposed (and now tabled) Ardmore Residential Historic District were not the only attendees at the crowded Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting on March 16. A group of more than 25 parents and young athletes waited patiently until around 11 p.m. to make their case to commissioners for the purchase of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machines to be stationed at all ball fields in the township to provide immediate response on-site in the case of sudden cardiac arrest at a ball game or athletic event.
