This September, set aside Wednesday evenings for Supper Sessions on the Avenue, a brand-new series curated by Mt. Over 10 different restaurants and bars will serve up food and drinks outdoors.Live music will accompany the experience.Many area organizations and businesses will offer extended hours.Replacing the annual Mt. Airy Street Fare, this food-centric event closes the 7100 block of Germantown Avenue to traffic from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Wednesday in September, enabling you to grab a table under the stars and enjoy the early-autumn weather over food and drinks.
Choose to dine outside one of the block’s numerous restaurants and bars (Alma Mater, Chef Ken’s, Cresheim Valley Grain Exchange, Earth Bread + Brewery, Golden Crust, Juice Room, Jyoti, McMenamin’s Tavern, Mi Puebla and Trattoria Moma), many of which will offer special menus for the occasion.As you settle in and relax, musicians perform along the street to add the perfect ambiance to your meal.Before or after dinner, guests can participate in pop-up events along the avenue hosted by community organizations.
