Haverford Township Historical Society will be hosting the 11th annual Heritage Festival this June 4th, 2017 from 11 AM to 4 PM along Karakung Drive.

  • Weaving demonstrations in Nitre Hall
  • Benjamin Franklin & his experiments
  • Robert Hicks (Mütter Museum) as a Civil War Union Army surgeon

  • blacksmithing demos
  • Revolutionary War hero: Ned Hector
  • Local artists, crafts people and vendors
  • Native American artifacts & craft making (including face painting for the kids!)
  • High wheel bikes
  • 3rd US Colored Infantry Reg. (Civil War)
  • Colonial era activities and demonstrations (churning butter, candle dipping, etc.)
