LMT residents may be interested to know that last night the Board of Commissioners approved the repaving of over 22 miles of township roads. This is more than we’ve ever done in a year and includes traditional milling and paving as well as microsurfacing. It’s on top of the paving planned by PECO and Aqua as they continue their ongoing work to replace aging gas lines and water mains. This represents a very significant $2m investment of your tax money in the 200+ road miles we are responsible for maintaining.
Most of the township work will occur between mid-June and early September. The linked information shows which streets are included in this year’s paving program.
More detailed schedules for specific streets will be developed in the coming weeks. Please note that these often change as the summer goes along, depending on weather and other circumstances. Contact your commissioner to get more information on timing for your particular area.
