Each week we will put out a different playscape to get your child read for Kindergarten. We’ll also have cards for you to take home, so you and your child can continue playing your way to Kindergarten readiness.All day, every Thursday beginning June 22 through August 10.

This Rain Garden Workshop will introduce you to the purpose and function of Rain Gardens and other ways of managing storm water on your property, rather than it contributing to stream flooding and pollution.Presented by the Eastern Delaware County Storm water Collaborative, Darby Creek Valley Association and the Hav-a-Rain Garden program, it will also review progress on our goal of building 100 Rain Gardens in Haverford in 10 years.
You will also find out how to be considered for a free rain garden installation and how to help build rain gardens in your community.
After the 1 hour workshop, you can stroll down several blocks of Mill Road with us and discuss the 3 Hav-a-Rain Garden built rain gardens at various stages of maturity.

Les Dames d’Escoffier Philadelphia and Bartram’s Garden invite you to enjoy an evening at the Farm! Join us for a fun-filled evening of great food, drink, and entertainment along the Schuylkill River.
Les Dames chefs and the Farm’s youth interns are pairing to create dishes that reflect the growing abundance and cultural diversity of Southwest Philadelphia. Your ticket also includes wine, specialty cocktails, live music, a silent auction, and a lively discussion about building community through food sovereignty led by Chris Bolden-Newsome and Ty Holmberg, farm co-managers.
All proceeds support the Farm at Bartram’s Garden.

Let’s all SING in Downtown Ardmore! Saturday, July 22nd join your friends and neighbors for a FREE outdoor screening of SING, the movie, featuring kids’ karaoke, prizes, and more. Bring your own chair or blanket, snacks, (or grab a pizza from Felicia’s) and don’t forget your singing voice!

Parent-child literacy workshops is happening Thursdays at 10:30 at Penn Wynne Library. It’s FREE! Coaching parents on how they can make vocabulary ***sparkle*** while reading with their children.
