New Schuylkill boat cruises have Main Line pedigree - from Wynnewood and Bryn Mawr to Berwyn - Main Line Suburban Life - Main Line Media NewsIf you hop aboard The Patriot this summer, you’ll be channeling two rich traditions: the Great Gatsby era on Long Island and the equally illustrious Main Line of Philadelphia. The ultimate in retro-chic, the boat on which you’ll set sail is actually a yacht that harkens back to the Roaring Twenties. But from bow to stern, she’s one thoroughly modern lady, a sleek and shiny fiberglass-and-wood number who loves nothing more than playing host to a grand Gatsby-esque party. (But dahling, please don’t call it a Booze Cruise. A tad tacky, wouldn’t you agree?)The boat’s owner – well, one third of her, anyway, is about as Main Line as they come: Bryn Mawr-born, Haverford School-educated Art Bell, who now makes his home in Berwyn
