Bala Cynwyd’s own librarian, Roz Warren, recently published Our Bodies, Our Shelves, a Collection of Library Humor, 20 sidesplitting essays that cover the amazing things that happen at the library Roz will be at our first fall program on Thursday, October 29, 7:30 p.m. and will answer questions about her book. Jack O’ Lantern Carve and Light! Join us as we watch master carvers Jason and Chris from Six:Eight Community of Faith carve beautiful artwork on giant pumpkins. You will also get a chance to carve or paint your own pumpkin and we will light them all up on the wall as darkness falls! Adult supervsion required for children. Bring a pumpkin or try your luck with one of ours ( first come, first serve). We will also have an apple press and you can press apples to make cider! Thanks to Trader Joe’s for donating small pumpkins. Snacks too! FREE.

Come on out and celebrate the Park with our Annual Fundraiser! Food, Music, Drinks, Art Prints for Sale, and Fun all right here in Ardmore! We will be gathering for an adults- only happy hour from 4-7 pm at Ardmore Music Hall on Lancaster Ave! This is our only fundraiser and a great chance to get together and share some drinks and chat at a cool space in Ardmore. We rely on this fundraiser to raise money for the maintenance, improvements, plantings, and programming at the Park. We do it all! Open bar for beer and wine (don’t forget to tip your server!). Finger food by Jack McShea’s. Bring your bib ( or let us know you ran it OR volunteered) from the Lower Merion Conservancy’s Storm Water Run Off 5K on 10/17 and get 5.00 off the ticket price!
