fall fest cynwy

Cynwyd Station Cafe and Tea Room
375 Conshohocken State Rd, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania 19004
From 11am-5pm

We started it last year with Tiny Circus and our 6-month anniversary bash – why not do it again? We have a lot to celebrate: this year we got electricity in the park, got a park sign (yes, Cynwyd Station Park was the only park in the Township park system that didn’t even have a SIGN), and this day, we will be celebrating and unveiling a second public art installation (which is a surprise!!) and the Philadelphia-Columbia Railroad historic interpretive installation. We will have a craft fair, Jasafar Blues Band providing us with live tunes, and JPM Catering cooking us up some fresh local savory treats. Great, GREAT chance to get some early holiday shopping done!…More info

There’s something for everyone to love at this year’s Ardmore Oktoberfest and Family Fun Festival on October 10. The fall family and Oktoberfest celebration takes place from 2–8 p.m. on Cricket Avenue in Ardmore. Presented by The Ardmore Initiative, McCloskey’s Tavern and John Henry’s Pub, this fall festival offers German food, Oktoberfest beers, live music and popular kids’ activities, such as face painting and a moonbounce. The O’Fenders will be providing live music from 2–5 p.m., followed by the James D. Oompah Orchestra, which will take the stage from 5–8 p.m. Enjoy an Oktoberfest celebration the right way—with German food, beer and live music in Ardmore! Photo credit: Nina Lea Photography
