The legendary Lower Merion High School Jazz Band will headline the 16th Anniversary Penn Wynne Summer Hummer Concert on Thursday, June 12th from 6:30 – 8:30pm in Wynnewood Valley Park. There will be plenty of great food, too (Vernalicious, Boston Style Pizza, Fruji), so come hungry! This event will take place rain or shine (rain location: Church of the Holy Apostles, Remington Rd, Wynnewood). Great way to kick-start the summer and give the LMHS Jazz Band a rousing send-off on their summer concert tour of Italy. Please join us!

If Aug. 1 comes and goes and regulars at MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore don’t notice much of a change, that is just fine with Mark Roy.Roy and wife Cathy, who were to officially take ownership of the popular music-and-coffee venue that day, plan to keep its successful vibe going, with little immediate alteration. The business, at 2 E. Lancaster Ave., will have a new name. It will now be called Melodies Café.As announced last week…via Melodies Cafe will play familiar tune in Ardmore, owners say – Main Line Times – Main Line Media News.
